Research

The Consortium has delivered a long term promise to undertake and commission research into the programme.

The Subgroup

The group began to take real shape in August 1998 when a meeting proposed a formal structure, and terms of reference. The terms of reference can be obtained from the National Office on request. The group meets prior to National Executive Meetings.

Projects

Currently two projects have been approved and a little over £14k of Consortium Funds have been committed to their completion. The two projects are:

• Exploration of the variations between different Path.Finder guidelines on the same clinical topic and evaluation of rapid appraisal methods
• Is Path.Finder perceived to facilitate evidence based practice? A survey of users
