The National Path.Finder Consortium

The Path.Finder Consortium brings together shared expertise and knowledge, to promote research, in the use of a computer based system designed to share clinical management information on best practice so promoting both clinical and cost effectiveness.

The National Consortium has a Constitution with conditions of membership, signed up to by all 7 members.

The Executive Steering Group meets quarterly and is assisted by a Research and Development Group, and an Authors and IT Group, with other ad hoc subgroups being formed to address specific issues. The group is supported by a Part-Time National Co-ordinator, based in the Project Office at Mid Staffordshire General Hospitals NHS Trust, and a Part-Time Project Manager based at Wirral Health Informatics Service.
